PHOTOJAX is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization coordinated by a small group of dedicated volunteers who share a love of photography. The festival brings together artists, enthusiasts, collectors, dealers, educators, galleries, museums and invites the public to share in this exploration of photography.

2014 Call for Entries! Show us your hood!!
Announcing a community response camera photo-art project!
We love our neighborhoods! Share with us what makes your hood unique. Is it the people, locations, food, or architecture? We’ll leave that up to you. PHOTOJAX 2014 is now accepting entries for inclusion in #photojaxhoods: a community response art project showcasing imagery of our diverse neighborhoods. Selected images from the thousands received will be displayed Saturday, January 25, 2014 at CoRK Arts District.
Submission deadline is January 5, 2014.

Or access Instagram through your mobile app and follow these steps:
a) Take a photo showcasing your neighborhood.
b) Upload the image to Instagram or Twitter
c) Hashtag the image with #photojaxhoods
d) Remember that your account must be set to ‘public‘
e) All submissions will be vetted for appropriateness.
You can submit as many photos as you like by the submission end date.
Then you and everyone else can vote for your favorite entries.
From those we’ll pick the winners to be included in the #photojaxhoods installation.
